FIRST FIRTH OF FORTH BRIDGE
Linocut 100 x 100mm. Edition of 100

The pound coin linocut prints above are 203mm diameter in editions of 50 prints. Sets and some individual prints are still available. Sets £800, single prints £250.

Before the Bridge series with borders was chosen for the circulating pounds, many linocuts were made of various emblems representing the four regions of the United Kingdom. The little 100mm diameter Firth of Fourth bridge linocut with its border of railway track was the original idea for a bridge series. An edition of 100 was printed for the Museum on the Mound Edinburgh.
